Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard has unveiled plans to release her first book entitled “Do It Anyway”, available May 7th, 2024.
In a heartfelt Instagram video, Cobbs Leonard shares the deeply personal story that inspired the book’s message. On January 19th, 2024, she received devastating news that her father had suffered a fatal heart attack just days before the Grammys. She recalls his life-changing advice given shortly before:
“Tasha, you’re gonna be going through a very challenging season…I want you to dig deep within your faith and ‘Do It Anyway.’”
“Do It Anyway” explores the narratives woven into her life and the lessons learned, shaped profoundly by her father’s wisdom before his untimely passing. The book’s prevailing message empowers readers to persevere through hardship, cling to faith, and carry on when facing the impossible.
